In order to build up my portfolio, I was was told to try to sculpt character likenesses. I chose a few different characters of varying styles, and first up was Bolin.
These are just meant to be quick maquettes and nothing too fancy. I used WED clay since it’s easy and fast to work with. His collar was made with oil clay so that it wouldn’t dry out due to the piece being so thin. Overall, I feel that his face is still a little too wide and his tuft of hair in the back could be slightly higher, but I’m not going to spend more time on him since I have others to do.
If anyone has any other ideas of what I should sculpt, please let me know since my ideas can get repetitive at times.
